This stuff is the BEST!!

I usually don’t bother with reviews unless the product far exceeds my expectations and is worthy of a review. This is by far the BEST treatment for hemorrhoids that I have ever used! I got hemorrhoids for the 1st time while pregnant with my 1st child, and after giving birth to her they were very bad and swollen. Preparation H didn’t help AT ALL, nothing did but time. Eventually they got better until my 2nd pregnancy when they came back again in my 3rd trimester with the pressure of my growing baby on that region. I needed to use something to help with the swelling and discomfort, and I am SO glad I found this balm! It has helped me immensely, reduces swelling, is very cooling and just overall an amazing product! I have used it during the 3rd trimester of my 2nd pregnancy, and will be using it after the arrival of my 2nd baby. I honestly don’t know what I would do without it and it’s a product I will buy over and over again and HIGHLY recommend- not just for pregnancy, but for anyone suffering with hemorrhoids!

Relieves itching

I did not have hemorrhoids or an episiotomy, but this product works wonders for the itching near stitches. One thing surprised me: it has a menthol (tingling) effect.

At first I was too proud to use this product but after days of discomfort I broke down and tried it. I wish I wouldn’t have tried to be a hero for so long. I now purchase this for every new mom I know.

This was so helpful after our son was born that I now give it as a present to any new moms at their shower. It can burn just a little at first, but helps sooth and heal. I also highly recommend the Earth Mama Bottom Spray.

"Magic Goop"

Earth Mama Angel Baby Angel Baby Bottom Balm, 2-Ounce Jar
Review actually for above list Baby Bottom Balm, not the mama.
My daughter calls this “Magic Goop”
She is 2 and ever since she was a baby, she would get occasional acidic poops. The kind that if you didn’t change her RIGHT AWAY, it would sort of burn her bottom. So painful for her (and me)

I tried everything, the creams where too heavy and it hurt her even more to try and coat her bottom with them, they were just too thick. Same with clean-up, I would have to wipe harder to get the creams off. Once I found this, I have never gone back. I even give it as a gift to other expecting mothers and they swear by it as well.

Its a balm, and once it comes in contact with the heat of you skin, it softens like a butter. It smells nice, its all natural and it really does soothe the bottom. If she has a rash, I use this and by the next day, its gone.

Its also a first aid ointment as well.

As long as nothing changes with their formula, I will never buy anything else.

Love the scent!

My children have very sensitive skin, so we use only Earth Mama items to ensure we have no skin irritation from items. This is one more product that I love- not just for my infant’s bottom, but also to use as hand cream at night and to soothe my baby before bedtime. I massage a little into his hands and feet before bedtime, and he smells so good- and seems to sleep even better! Great product, and because a little goes such a long way- it lasts quite a long time!

With my son, who is 3 weeks old, I tore and got 3 hemorrhoids. (yikes) This stuff is so soothing, I haven’t placed it in the refrigerator like some others have recommended, but as is, it is fantastic. It stopped the irritation from my stitches. Far better for the bum than prep H, dermablast (irritating for me), etc. LOVE LOVE LOVE this product and ADORE the company. Everything they make is magical.

Heavenly goo for post-partum bottoms!

Cooling, soothing balm for your sore, swollen, torn-up lady bits. Made of lovely healing ingredients and essential oils. I wanted to lie in a huge tub of this stuff. Put on this ointment, then stuff an ice pack into your pants. HEAVENLY!”

Good Stuff!!

Cooling on burning hemorrhoids! I’ve had hemorrhoids for years but getting worse in my older years. I’ll probably always keep this stuff on hand from now on. Enough said!!

Great for women with chronic pelvic pain, not just mamas

I’m not a pregnant woman, but i was told about Earth Mama bottom balm from a woman in a pelvic pain support group. It’s really wonderful stuff. It helps with vaginal and rectal burning – it really sort of “numbs” the area with no rebound effect (at least for me). I use it everyday and have never had any side effects from it. You really don’t need to use much to get an effect. The first Jar i had lasted several months with daily use. I was just using a small coating. I have used Calendula creams similarly and had good results, but this stuff is even better.

I do wonder though if the Hypericum perforatum (organic St. John’s wort) ingredient is safe for fetuses, but it doesn’t seem that any reviewers had any issue with this.

Here’s the ingredients list:

Ingredients: Olea europaea (organic olive) oil, Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) leaf, Hypericum perforatum (organic St. John’s wort) extract, Calendula officinalis (organic calendula) extract, Achillea millefolium (organic yarrow) extract, Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, Euphorbia antisyphilitica (candelilla wax), Simmondsia chinensis (organic jojoba) oil, proprietary blend of Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil, Mentha piperita (peppermint) oil ”
